Health Food for Cats
A key part of maintaining healthy cats is feeding them the best food. We have found Life's Abundance to meet our requirements, and highly recommend them for you. Innova's EVO is also a great option to add a higher-protein source for kittens and pregnant queens.

Cat Wheels
Even a roomy enclosure doesn't give a cat as much exercise as it would get romping around our furniture and counters. However, they love having a wheel to run around in! They catch on quickly and use them all the time.
Claw Covers
I do not approve of the declaw process. There are many alternatives today and it is almost never necessary to a healthy, intelligent, well socialized cat.
I offer some of the lowest prices for Soft Paws covers. They are easy to apply. I attempt to acclimate all my kittens to accept nail caps by handling paws and trimming nails. Many of my kittens prefer the sisal of a scratching post to furniture anyway and only need trimming to prevent scratches when playing.
I do not like to use the soft claws on very young kittens because they are learning to leap and jump and often misjudge. distances; even without covers on their nails they will often slip or fall. I don't wish to frustrate them and don't mind if they practice their leaps on my couches! We are home all day and do actively discourage kittens from using furniture by removing them and placing at the tower. By the time they're old enough to go home, they are ready for the nail covers. I will apply them, if you wish, but because kittens shed their nails more frequently than adult cats, they will need new applications sooner.
